TigressWolf up to last chapter “How do you not get it?” He walked over to me and touched my hair.
I had to close my eyes, the rush I felt when he touched me. It took everything I had to school my face. “I don’t get it. What do you mean last job, why do you want to kill her?” My eyes locked onto his.
Michiru was shaking violently. “Its been 10 years, I don’t even really remember what happened. How could he?” She spoke so softly I barely caught what she was saying, but BlackRoses had started talking so I didn’t have time to focus on her.
“It’s you. You’re the one. Ever since we had that debate over if you should use hacking for power. Why do you think I moved next to you? I got in every one of your classes I could. Your dad loved me.”
“What do you mean “loved”?” Something clicked and I turned on the TV. “You were the one who got dad the singles tickets weren’t you?” I found the news, a cruise-line was sinking. “How in HELL do you think that I would be with you after you killed my best friend and father?”
“You weren’t going to find out. Don’t you see? After you weren’t going to find out about your dad until after she was out of the picture, I was going to be right there to comfort you.” The look on his face was honest. I couldn’t believe that what I saw. He truly meant what he was saying. The back of his hand brushed up lightly on the back of my cheek.
“Your sick!” I smacked his hand away, his face changed, first to sorrow, then to anger.
The gun trained on me almost as quickly as I smacked his hand away. “You’ll come around.” He pointed the gun back to Michiru. “It’s time to finish what I started.”

Michiru was crying hard. “But it was 10 years ago, I don’t really even remember it.” She was shaking.
I turned my back on the psychopath with a gun and knelt by her, tears in my eyes. “Michiru, baby, what are you talking about?” I wiped the tears from her eyes and brushed her hair with my fingers.
“How much did he offer?” She looked right past me to BlackRoses.
“2 Billion.” His voice was perfectly smooth, a soft smile played on his face.
“Who called the hit on her, and why?” I look at him over my shoulder, standing up, very serious. “You will tell me.”
“She saw something she shouldn’t have. I’m surprised that the hit wasn’t asked for earlier, though I’m glad it wasn’t. I’m also glad I got all weekend.” He took a step closer, I shot him a warning glance and he froze for a second not sure what to do.
“Michiru, baby, who did this? Why?”
Her eyes locked mine, her eyes did something very weird, it was as if looking at waves crashing in the ocean. “My father” at the same time she grabbed me and everything went black.

The next thing I know I was in Michiru’s kitchen, in Michiru? She/ we are about 4, kicking our feet happily, eating breakfast that my mother had made just for me/us. She was petting her/our hair, telling her/us how pretty she/we were.
Her father came in the room. My mother grew tense, however just made a silly face at her/me to get my/us to giggle.
“I have not changed my mind if that is why you asked me here.” She turned backed to the stove and made her father a plate.
Her father came over to her/us and petted her/our hair. “Why not start now? They have already shown a good deal of ability. All of them.”
“Why can they not just be raised as normal children?”
“Why can they not just learn now? Why wait?”
“Because they are children!” her voice was pleading. “To start now they will not have the joys of childhood! They will have to focus solely on training. I will not allow it, they will reach adulthood before they reawaken.” She threw his plate at his face, he reflected it somehow without touching.
Her/our eyes widen. “Daddy? Mama Sesuna?” she/we gulped.
“You take that back!” Her father screamed!
My mother started laughing, “It cannot be undone, I wouldn’t if I could! The children will be normal until adulthood.”
She/we don’t know how but her father had gotten a butcher knife from across the room and stabbed my mother, she/we screamed… Everything went black again and I was looking at Michiru once again.
