DARK HEART

On this cold night as dead as it seems
Me alone staring up at moonlight beams
Surrounded by a velvet black sky
Not a thought in mind as I stand to say why?
As I turn around and glance at the tree
A strange feeling arises that something sees me
A quick gasp as it gave a fast move
The strength I had turned to fear, I couldn’t prove
I opened my confused eyes to the morning
The warm sun greeting my skin in dawning
As I rose from bed towards the door
I knew I wasn’t near home anymore
I went down stairs and into a passage
While there I felt a presence speaking a message
I turned sharply to a room so fast
As I saw him my breath was lost
There he sat in his tall black chair
This beautiful being with dark silk hair
His pale porcelain-like skin and haunting eyes
He smiles and knows she wants it yet denies
I am made speechless at the amount of his power
He rises and moves forward yet each step I cower
The outstretched hand gently touches my cheek
I tensed but a glance at him and I am made weak
To be near him while he ruled the empire
This gorgeous immortal a beautiful Vampire

UNACCEPTED

With one step in which I thought was great
I made so many enemies just filled with hate
One by one they tear me down and apart
So concerned by what they don’t see in my heart
If all comes to an end, done and finished
Why come to me and make what I have diminish?
I see clearly you had your shot

Drowning in my tears
I can’t run from these fears
Over and over its calling
Faster and faster I am falling
The darkness moves in now
As my head begins to bow

Your eyes that cry tears of utter bliss
The way that the light dances in happiness
Your ears are always willing to hear me

Your nose to pick up every sweet scent and smell
When you’re sick I will be there to wipe it well
Your lips so warm as you plant your kisses
The sweet words that are said from them in comforting wishes
Your hands perfectly formed and gentle
When placed upon my cheek as they settle
They pull me close to you

Your chest is the place to rest my head
The perfect place for my head’s little bed
In that chest is the heart that bleeds
For that desired love that it badly needs
Your heart reminds me of a fire
Burning for a limited time
Until someone throws water on it

Your legs so strong in the way that they’re crossed
Yet a place for me to be seated as you place me on them
Your toes like your hands as they rub my leg
