People come into your life for a Reason, a Season or a Lifetime.
When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person...!

When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has! been answered and now it is time to move on.

When some people come into your life for a SEASON,
because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season.!

When some people come and stay for a LIFETIME,
these relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant

(this was a "Loving" Chain Email - but I love the It)

I read of a man who stood to speak at the funeral of a friend. He referred to the dates on her tombstone, From the beginning...to the end. He noted that first came her date of birth and spoke the following date with tears,
But he said what mattered most of all Was the dash between those years. (1934 - 1998) For that dash represents all the time That she spent alive on earth...And now only those who loved her, Know what that little line is worth.

For it matters not, how much we own; The cars...the house...the cash,
What matters is how we live and love And how we spend our dash.

So think about this long and hard......Are there things you'd like to change? For you never know how much time is left, That can still be rearranged.

If we could just slow down enough to consider what's true and real,
And always try to understand the way other people feel

And be less quick to anger, And show appreciation more,
And love the people in our lives like we've never loved before.

If we treat each other with respect, And more often wear a smile.
Remembering that this special dash might only last a little while.

So, when your eulogy's being read With your life's actions to rehash...
Would you be proud of the things they say About how you spent your dash?

I am glad that you're in my life and part of my dash.
