b. Being neither distinguishably masculine nor feminine, as in dress, appearance, or behavior.

Funny how our society is so defined, the lines of the army clearly drawn between male and female. So much that any deviation from it boggles the minds of everyone around. You're either right or wrong, black or white. People simply can't concieve of the grey area between. It's everywhere around us, not just in our sex. It constitutes our bipartisan politics, our work place, our class divisions, and is the hearth stone of most religions.

Even our own bodies are divided in to right and left. This duality runs clear down to the double helix of the DNA. But is what amazes me is that society can not go beyond to percieve the body as a unity, a perfect blend of right and left. Some claim they do but they can seldom if ever push that microcosmic view out into the universe and allow it to become their macrocosm. They can not go beyond to see that they are not this individual opposite but a part of a whole that is made of both equally.

I love early goddess religions that saw God as an androgyn they understood. LOL funny how the the more our technology improves the less we come to know ourselves. So many people can talk endlessly about cars, computers, art, and a miriad of other trivial things, and yet they can't even debate the nature of their own existence.

Just did a search on the term Androgyny. Does it suprise me that nothing but gay sites show up? androgyny has nothing to do with being gay. To be gay is to have a tendancy towards male or female, androgyns' have no tendancy in either direction and if they do it is equally countered in a harmonic yin yan.

Maybe someday I should rebuild an androgyny religion one where people will be mathimatical artist, Creative engineers, peaceloving warmongers. A diacotomy of opossite typified in individuals. Individuals that represent the macrocasom of society.

The only boundaries that we have are the ones we create, there is no defentions, nothing, only life...imagine that Lennon.
