I think some times people forget how long forever is.

Love is one of those things that endures.
Often people say that they will love some one forever.
Verily they soon forget that after some time.
Eventually the mind moves on and past it.

Yet the heart does not.
Of all the things that hold true its real love.
Unequivicaly, and determind the heart still beats.

Perhaps the worst thing to feel forgotten.
If you are forced apart but you still love,
Can the love endure?
Kept in faith, time and distance become nothing.
Love defies all boundries and never waivers.
Ever means forever, and always, my love.

People always seem to want to know if it is better to have loved and lost then never to have loved at all. Simple enough, how do you know what you are missing if you have never experienced it? To never have loved it to miss the the single greatest emotion we can experience. It has changed the course of history several times, and lets not mention then uncountable numbers of lives who have been totally remade due to it. Yes, it is better to have loved and lost then never have loved at all.
But what of the fate of the forgotten? Those who have loved, still love, yet are denied this love? Does love endure? Does a part of it all still shine some where in the dark? or is it left bottled, caged and then forgotten?

I would not trade my experiences in love, despite the costs of their loss, in favor of never having them at all. But my heart is not whole any more. "Time heals all wounds." But I do not want this to be healed with the passage of time, there is only one cure that I know will mend, and the only one I would wish for. I miss my Pet with all my heart.

To every guy that said he would die for her.

To every guy that did what she wanted to do.
To every guy that cried in front of her.
To every guy that she cried in front of.
To every guy that holds hands with her.
To every guy that kisses her with meaning.
To every guy that hugs her when she's sad.
To every guy that hugs her for no reason at all.
To every guy who would give their jacket up for her.
To every guy that calls to make sure she got home safe.
To every guy that would sit and wait for her for hours just to see her for ten minutes
To every guy that would give his seat up.
To every guy that just wants to cuddle.
To every guy that reassured her that she was beautiful no matter what.
To every guy who told his secrets to her.
To every guy that tried to show how much he cared through every word and every breath.
To every guy that thought maybe this could be the one.
To every guy that believed in her dreams.
To every guy that would have done anything so she could achieve them.
To every guy that never laughed at her when she told him her dreams.
To every guy that walked her to her car.
To every guy that gave his heart.
To every guy who prays that she is happy even if you are not with her.

They call what people feel the "human condition" like it is a disease, something that is meant to be cured. Some times it feels that way, and that maybe it would be better if we did not feel anything, if there was no hurt, no suffering, no sense of loss or longing, no sorrow or doubt. But then we would be robbed of the most precious things of all, of joy and laughter, no more mirth and excitement, gone would be the smile from your face when you look at your beloved Pet, in removing the pain we would lose the most important treasure of all, Love.

Love is a strange feeling though. It has a hugely profound impact on us, it can make the world a bright and wondrous place where nothing could possibly go wrong, or if it does it is only a minor thing compared to the elation that we feel. You could be having the most horrible of days, but as soon as your beloved smiles at you everything else falls from your shoulders, forgotten in the endless depth of their love for you.

But there is a price for being allowed to feel this much ecstasy, no reward comes with out its risk. For who could hurt you for long when you are in the grip of such a potent feeling but the keeper of your heart. And it can be hurt in so many ways, be it from neglect, betrayal, or rejection. But that pain can go both ways, when life put you in a place where you have no choice, the hurt is felt by both. You can try and push the pain away, but it is there, gnawing at you, keeping you awake at night longing that it was not so.

What does it mean to love some one?

They say that love is the strongest force in the world. Through it nations can be shaped, lives changed, ended or started, everything is different when you are in love.
What is it about love that can take a logical, sane clear thinking man and drive him to believe in the things that seem impossible? To try to change his whole world around from what he knows, and is familiar, to uncertainty and chaos.
One minute you have your whole life laid out before you, you know what you are going to do, who you are going to be with, where you are going to be, every minor detail it seems is all planed and has been set in motion to make it true, all because of love. Then love comes along again. You thought that love was love, and that once you are held in thrall by its grip there is no room for anything else, it is like an exclusive club, and cannot be shared by anyone else once that room in your heart is occupied.
But love does not seem to care about foolish ideas or details like that.
The heart does not seem to bother to consult with the mind, it does what it chooses and when it chooses to do so. You can fight it. but that does not change anything, you still find yourself impossibly in love, torn, two sides of one whole fighting for control. With out one you feel so incomplete.
What do you do with only half a heart?
