See her there
Shining with incandescent beauty
So pure, enough to shattereth the spear
And breaketh the bow asunder
To bring tears of longing and joy
Happiness and pleasure to those
With the the blessing to be gifted with the bounteous grace of her presence
But this in truth pales beside the fire that burns within
That spirit so dazzling
Burning with the intensity of a thousand suns
Bringing light to the dark
Enriching the night
Lifting those mired in sorrow
Clearing the shadows from their sight
An angel to the wolves
Who give praise as she passes by
A fey beauty to men
Who in longing feel a tear
And breath an impassioned sigh
This then is my Princess
My goddess of light
My desire and my love
My beauty so bright
To be with her a thousand miles I’d traverse
To find her I’d cross the endless sea
To be with her I’d slay a thousand foes
All these and more, to hold her to me
Fortunate am I
A mere mortal in truth
TO bathe in the glory that is
My Faerie Princess in sooth
All who beheld us will be
Green and twisted with want and envy
At the happiness I share
With the most wondrous of all
