Waking up on a moon lit night; I follow the foot steps you left in my mind. Blueprints of a frolicking sea to the left of my eyes. All the amber in the breaking of the day left on the sky. I can wonder why you’d laugh this way, I can reason on how I found you. But your smile is still the same. When the night is calling to the moon to return, and light my way. All is lost in the remnants of the day. Ebbs of the tide wash away all the scares, so they say. Rolling in and out as time fades away.
