My son is only 8--do they hire child actors? And adults, too? (I'd have to be with him the first time he does something like this)? Where is Sterling? I can check out if the Pittsburgh one is hiring. That is a good idea--I would put him in films, but I haven't shot any yet. He is a natural ham!

Thank you for the suggestion! I am already trying to get him into a theater day camp at my school this summer. It's expensive, but I think it is what he needs to harness his energy and attention because he is a holy terror at school, a "handful," but the director of the day camp says boys who are handfuls are their specialty. So who knows what could happen! LOL

We also have Pennsic nearby, I believe. I just followed a link from one of their websites, and I am looking for my local SCA chapter now. Whee! It would be so much fun to be involved in something like that again! My hubby is a history buff, too, and I am an English grad student, so this is up our alley. And our son is a ham who loves to act and be in character! LOL

Actually meant your family picture, all dressed in incredible garb for a Faire. Did you do that yourself? Love to see the whole family into the spirit of roleplaying! Didn't even think about getting my son involved if I found a local group, but now I might!
