I hear ya...but ya know, sometimes you wish you didn't see the damn fish before it gets away - at least that way, you never really know how big (or small, but they're never small right?? hehe) it was. I still call that one "granddad" cuz he was a monster! (I swear!)

I know the feeling. I will never forget one that I had on the line one time with my buddy...damn thing swam back and forth under the boat, my rod almost snapped in half...til the line did. It was a huge largemouth bass (I swear it was huge!! lol) I still wanna kick my buddy for not getting the net out in time!

I've got a trailer out by Peterborough, so we head up there pretty much every weekend over the summer months. I try to head out on the boat to bring in some fish, but I think our lake is stocked solely with ninja fish or something like that.
