this is a tale of two bestest buddies. igby was a crazy little shit, always attacking all the other kitties... until one day, a baby kitten named nico arrived. he took to her instantly, watching her every move, following her everywhere, and even licking her until she purred herself to sleep.

now, they're inseparable.

this is the tale of my first pet. chip, the cat. the big, fat, mean tabby cat.
i got him when i was five years old. he was the meanest little shit, and i was scared to even walk by him. then, by some twist of fate, he took to me, and from that moment on, we were inseparable from that moment on. he was with me at all times. slept with me every single night. for fifteen wonderfully amazing years. he was there for as long as i can remember.
he had to be put to sleep a few months ago, and it was the fucking hardest thing i've ever been through in my life. how many people watch their best friend die right in front of them, and by their own power?
anyone who's had a pet put to sleep, i guess.
