For Heros

Focus with me on the sky
Watch it split and swirl as we slumber on our knees
Today is a good day for a revelation
.....Today is a good day to start a revolution
My energy is not what it once was
.....And thinking can soon become pointless

These are the days that I put profiles in order
Dancing a leg-less dance of wisdom and perversion
Knowing that a reason to smile
is a reason to think of why you are smiling.
My logic is fundamental to my own jaded philosophy

I am waiting for heroes

Time

I know of the mystery they call time.
.....They say it folds its transparent armor
..........over
...............and over
.....again
..........to form a tempest
Spinning its very being to the center of infinity
Clasping to wisdom
And colliding with a future or two.

With its eternal mercy it collects as many memories as it can.
.....to remember those moments
..........and to forget the ones best
...............left behind.

I know of a moment or two...

In memory of rituals, we fall into place
Covering a masterpiece with disregarded moments of our last victory
We are mystified by the likelihood of this irrelevance
