I was walking down the street on the way to the grocery earlier today, when I spotted a mugger beating up an elderly gentleman in a suit. I ran over as fast as I could, and proceeded to beat the lights out of the thief. As he lay unconscious on the sidewalk, I turned to the old man, and saw him also laying on the floor. I checked his pulse, and he was very much alive. My guess was that he fainted. Right as I set him gently back onto the floor, I heard a scream; looking up, I saw a woman fleeing from me, no doubt about to summon the authorities.
Well, I was in a bit of a conundrum. I had the stolen money in hand, and two still bodies on the floor next to me. Not only that, but I indeed had a reason to worry, in the form of a warrant out for my arrest, due to a charge of assault and battery (of which I am entirely innocent, but that is a story for another day). Seeing as the police would take care of the older man, and that the thief already got what was coming to him, I fled the scene, and gave most of the money to the charity of my choice.
The End.
