The Key

I look into your eyes, and I see your sweet
smile my love stretches far.
My love stretches over all the hurt and
depression, and love gives life a sweet
interpretation
You're the holder to the key that will
unlock my heart, that will let you see
See how much you mean to me
I'm in heaven and you're my angel
My eyes are bright like a candle
A candle shining for all to see
So here is my heart to which you hold the
key.
And just remember to leave me alone is the
only way to turn my heart to stone.
Cause you're the only one that can ever hold
the key.
The key that will unlock my heart and let me
be free.

Sweet Birds

Sweet birds of timeless happyness come to me,
spread thine joy
Sweet sparrow sing... and facet a smile in
my heart divine
When love sings, make my heart pitter patter
like hummingbirds wings
Sweet children of the lovely birds
grow and sing thy songs
For my heart longs to hear them in
their beautiful psalms

Melt Me Away

Life is looking at me strange
Leaving me in a world of pains
Heartache, trouble, unhappiness, and hate
And how I pray to melt from this state
This state of mind unyielding and unethical today
So I wish to just be melted away
The strain of thought and character in which clearly
I cannot see
So why can't you, Lord, just melt me into the sea
A life of pain and suffering is something you always
Find, but happiness and truth in ending are hard to define
And though our lives are filled with unhappiness and grief
We still look for light from the top of the lonesome peak

Lost Soul in a Broken World
To My Father: Tony

In a day one could be Happy
In an hour one could be Satisfied
NOT ME
I'm alone in a world of lost souls, broken hearts,
and forgotten dreams
The dreams of those lost souls trying to fix their
own broken worlds colide and disappear with all others
My dreams are lost and found then lost again, but my
broken world is different from others, mine stands
on a single broken dream the dream of my father
the dream of his song lifting me higher to the dawn

Why Do You Care?

I've been away not body but soul
you sparked my mind to come back home
Why do you care where I have gone
but since you asked I'll tell you
Brother, I have been to the peaks of the
Rockies to make my mind forget, then after
then mountains came firey valleys that
scorched my flesh to dust
Then oh Brother your voice drawing me back
to the light
soon there after I asked "Why do you care?"
you answered "Because, Sister, for you I've
always cared"
