I once owned 4 turtles. One was old, horney, shy, playfun. My oldest one died. I was so sad that I gave the others away. 6months later my husband and I were talking about my turtles when he asked if I was sad for giving away the baby box turtle. I looked very confussed!!! I told him that I never got a baby box turtle from him. He insisted that he gave me a baby one for my birthday. I to this day (which was 8 years ago now) dont remember ever getting a baby box turtle. How sad is that, I couldn't remember getting one because I was so sad that me Oldest box turtle passed away.
