Had a very interesting chat today. I shall and keep this brief, as my talents as a writer sttill need some polishing (LOL)
On route to my destination, a man on a motocycle come past, yet something was differant... was it the exhaust note, was it the chrome, giving the motorcycle, a star like glitter in the darkening afterglow called dusk.
After we both came to a dead stop at the red lights, him directly in front of me, in front of him...open road, a momnet in time just begging to be
p l u c ked.
I wind down the window, . . . the lean, muscilar exhaust note meets my ears first, a relaxed yet highly piched drone, the chrome on the bike glitter under the street lamp's version of light.
Cut into the belly of the beast, is a large Cone air filter, massive in its size, arrgessive in its design. The bike, yellow and black, chorme work here and there.
The owner looks to the left side, blips the throttle, looks to the right side.. blips the throttle... the thought of what this beast can do inturge's me.
As I study the bike for more clue's, i discover that this is no ordinary machine.
exhaust pipes are missing, the bike has a much lower stance, the fat, sticky rear tyre, the lack of tread on this tyre... Upon looking closer, it became clear to be a semi slick
We pull off, the owner pulls off to the side, the yellow lane.. i am faced with a choice...go straight and wonder what that machine was... pull off and talk to him, a moments uncertainity, for a split second considering my optoins..
So I shall leave you... hope to hear from you soon
