So I'm a klutz. I think I have known this for a while, but my klutziness is making itself known this week in the form of some small but painfully annoying injuries. Ouch. Poor me.

I have gone to war with the ants. I am bigger and stronger, but there is only one of me and thousands of them. I believe the odds are in their favor. So far they have taken over the kitchen, including the cabinets, the counters, and the sink. Armed with 3 different cleaning products and a damp sponge, I have forced a retreat, however I'm sure they are just calling in reinforcements and will be back. They have also launched a counter attack from the bathroom, which will need to be dealt with soon. What a way to spend my Friday night.

Here's my 2nd tale. (Why isn't it tail? Is that just too cheesy for a pet sight? I think it would be funny, but I'm a dork and like bad puns) So my power went out today. Why? I don't know. But it sucked- i am baking the cakes for a wedding and now I have to make a-whole-fn-nother one cause that one didn't rise. And I freaked out- not only is my cake not rising, but my internet doesn't work and I can't google the problem. AHHHH! What to do without the internet? So I went to call the phone company and realized that my wireless phone doesn't work. Then went to look up the number and realized again that THE INTERNET DOES NOT WORK. Duh. I was suddenly thankful for those big books that get delivered to my door every year which I normally just get annoyed with because each one is like a whole tree. And cell phones. Well, it came back on eventually, but I lost an hour and a half and now have to make 3 cakes instead of 2 in addition to a whole buffet spread that I need to prep and I'm sure my blood pressure shot through the roof, and what am I doing instead of baking? Yes, getting my internet fix. HAHA. You wanna know the really funny part about all of this? I spent 3 YEARS OF MY LIFE living in the jungle with NO running water OR electricity. I didn't have these problems then. Damn technology. It's addictive qualities are worse than drugs. But that's a *tail* for another time : )
