As I drove to an appointment today, I looked around and found the usual hostile Los Angeles drivesrs. I think back on how my city was when I was a younger man. People would allow you in their lane and wave. People were considerate of others. I now see people so self involved, talking while driving, etc. I approached a parking spot where a girl had her signal on indicating she was leaving. I pulled up and asked if she was, she responded F-off, my nails are drying. Rather than turning into one of these classless individuals bu losing my temper, I moved on. At least I know I'm still civil. I still open doors for women and the elderly, I treat older people with great respect and never forget to smile. I hope this might reach at least on of you who get so overwhelmed that they forget others. Remember, courtesy is contagious.
