So strong is this woman.
This woman I watch everyday.

Since as far back as I can recall
this woman always showed me great virtue.

She showed everyone that we all were never truly doomed
She gave us hope, love, and comfort.
All the things a mother would give her children.

This woman poured everything into her family
only to be rewarded with a husband who sometimes caused a lot of grief.
Fate smiled, however, and blessed her with wonderful children.

No matter how much trouble the world seemed to put on her plate
she just smiled back and went on to fix any problems she could.

No matter the amount of stupidity she saw
or the amount of grief
she just continued to smile until it hurt to smile any longer.

Her children, as much as they loved her, tried their damnest to keep her from frowning.
In their memories, they could recall all the times that they saw her unhappy.
It brought pain to their hearts, as they both knew this woman didn't deserve this.

In a way of saying how much they loved her
they tried to never cause her grief.
For them this seemed to be their only way of showing their love for her.
As children they had a hard time saying a simple, "I love you."

They wanted to make her proud.
Even though the mother was always proud of them no matter what.
They wanted to make her smile happily again.
Even if the mother always smiled anyway.

They wanted to make up for all of the I love you's that they never said.
The mother, however, always knew her children loved her deeply,
even without the I love you's her children never said.

It was just something unspoken
but still said loudly through all of their actions.
