A Day In My Mind

All I ever do is cause pain
Not normal pain either
At times in my life I wish I'd be slain
And float to the sky light as a feather

Some days I want to commit suicide
Others I'm happy as a bird
I always hide the pain inside
And my life I wish I had rendered

I search high and low for love
I've come close a few times
And in the mornings I'll see a dove
Yet in my mind I'm committing crimes

I've ridden dirt bikes and quads
A few concussions and almost two comas
I love my music and I listen to P.O.D.s
And in this life i have more than a few mommas

And by "mommas" I don't mean girlfriends
Those are a select few
I never follow the latest trends
And I may never try Tofu

This whole poem was written
Just to explain my life
Or maybe I'm just smitten
