There was a two weekend Ren faire in lake tahoe.
The first week started well enough, Jess and I heading up on Thursday. We set up "The Blob", our tent. Had our nifty little traffic cone she brought me back from Tuscon with York ontop of it to annouce our tent.
We spent alot of time drinking at this faire, i'm going to say that now and get it out of the way. Not saying we didn't work our asses off, which we did. Jess was going day and night, and I helped wherever i was needed before and after my sound obligations. But there was ALOT of drinking. Absinthe everywhere, lots of beer, lots of midori margerittas.
There is a shot of me leaning on the tree, my bottle in my hands. I am wearing a radio, was given the callname of Tinkerbelle for the weekend, both for my diminuative stature and my sharing of the green liquid.
There were quiet hours, but i don't know how many people really followed the rules about that.
Jess and I ran into town several times, once with Amanda when we did a shopping trip, hung some signs, and went to sushi. Best sushi was at Off The Hook, great place. Very good lookin' staff. Hehe.
When Jess and I hung signs on our own, we had a little bit of a problem getting them to face the proper direction....such as one that decided it wanted to point towards the trailer park....and another that was pointing towards a porta-potty in the staples parkinglot....and my fav, the one that was pointing straight into the ground....
But we had a wonderful time, minus the five minutes i would take back if i could.....
But we also went into town with Perry and Med3, went to the gun store, and liquir store, and Chevys for more booze. Yay booze!
