so.. this is my first.. and probably funniest tale I have to tell - well, I think so anyway.. had me laughing for hours...
A few years ago a friend of mine and his wife took their 8-year-old boy to the zoo... after walking around looking at the animals for an hour- their little boy suddenly wandered off and his parents were in a panic for twenty minutes trying to find him... when they finally did he was soaking wet, rather agitated and upset and wanted to go home... after not being able to calm him down, they proceeded to take him back to the car and drive home - while sat in the back seat they tried to question him about why he was wet and why he had wandered off without getting many replies from him..
When they finally got home, the little boy ran upstairs and locked himself in the bathroom.. after ten minutes of demands that he open the door to his parents, the lock was finally released and they were allowed in the bathroom...
There in the middle of the floor was the empty rucksack the boy had been carrying around on his back while at the zoo... and there, in the bath... was the penguin he had stolen while away from his parents..!!! =D
I nearly wet myself hearing this....
