it's four am.. just getting out of work...been up since nine... working since eleven... gotta stay awake till seven. can't fall asleep. can't miss the train. home by six. put on a pot of coffee.. and a pot of spaghetti. seven... make for the train. daylight burning my eyes through the overcast sky. cold slush burns my tired soles. nine am. slept for a minute, but now i've arrived. nodding off, hearing others trials.. and tribulations. men in shackles with scars, and i want to be anywhere but here. eleven am.. i'm done.. free.. for now. my mom takes me for breakfast.. more coffee.. last thing i need is more coffee.. but gotta stay awake. noon... lying on my brothers bed.. spewing crazy talk to him in my sleepy daze.. feel like i've been up for days... two pm.. back on the train.. coffee reeling through my veins... head bobbing in and out of consciousness with the jerks and jolts of the the train. sleep for a minute, but now i've arrived... three pm.. back at work.. back to work..
