I'm just a whee bit angry at the moment. I was talking to some other students about the plagiarising business at tafe. I mentioned something about it to the other students and they were like

"Oh I saw that she was just paraphrasing. I paraphrase so and so's blog so it's okay"

All I could think was

"Were you born a douche bag or were you raised as one?"

I would like to state the difference between paraphrasing and plagiarism.

Paraphrasing is when you take someone else's concept and reword in your own words. However if you don't acknowledge your resource within the document it's still considered a form of plagiarism.

Plagiarism is when you out right copy the work word for word and give no acknowledgement, nothing to the original author.

THERE'S NOT MUCH DIFFERENCE!

It pisses me off that people in my class think it's okay to plagiarize a fellow students work or anyone's work for that matter. They don't seem to understand the hard work that goes into creating that document. I would be really pissed off if anyone decided they could copy my work. I know how much effort I've put into my work, and it's not a days worth. It takes weeks to come up the documentation that accompanies the product. Maybe it's the high school mentality that they think it's ok. I think I might have to beat some sense into them!

it's a love hate relationship when you've been bitten by the travel bug.

Early last year a friend and I decided we wanted to go to Japan. Late last year around December we did it, minus my partner and add in her friend.

Now we're talking about going to Europe together and going back to Japan on the way back from europe. This time we're going to take my partner and hers XD Which is great because if we want to go shopping my partner calms her husband right down when he gets angry. I suppose you have to be a calming thing when your going out a rollercoaster. Doesn't mean I don't love him!

I want to go to europe now since another friend put photos up of France, Holland, Belguim and Germany. Before he did that I no interest in visiting Europe!

Though we're planning this in four years time since Japan took it a lot of money to save up for. I'm hoping in four years I have a great job in multimedia (which I know will happen), she has a great job in nano science (I definitely know this will happen!) and we can go to europe with our partners via business class! Unfortunately our partners are a like with money. Both have said we can go IF we save up the money for both of us. Lol I didn't think our taste in men were so similar!

facebook is a really small place. Like smaller than the world, well maybe not I'm just being over dramatic.

To give you an idea of what I mean while using bad grammar here's an example. I like to look at my friend's friends when I'm bored. Most of the time I don't know them and think hey they seem pretty cool. However I went to one friend's friend and found out one of his friend is my friend's ex boyfriend. I also found out he's working for rising sun pictures :( BASTARD! I would like to work somewhere like there, guess I'll just have to finish my course first :P

Did that make any sense? No? That's okay it didn't make much sense to me either. Anyway face book is a small place. Small enough that stalkers like me can find anyone they feel like.

..............probably time to ban myself from facebook for a week and get some work done.
