It is always difficult for me to break the ice, when trying to meet people. I like facebook because it is a safe tool to use from a distance, but it really keeps people at a distance, so it is not always all that beneficial.
It is easy for people to hide behind facades, while some actually rip away the facades online and let their real personality come out. With me; there are no facades. I am as I come across and am not pretentious. I am not outwardly or inwardly a slave to fashion or trends - I tend to follow my instincts for comfort and functionality.
With Christmas around the corner, I tend to be a little more introspective and also cherish my family a little more. It will be a different type of Christmas this year for my family, due to the loss of a pillar of strength in my family, but hopefully this will bring us closer together despite the miles between us.
Do you really want to meet Mel? I don't think he is finished with the bar scene yet; although it appears that is something he really should avoid! LOL
You sound like the wonderfully deep, intelligent, passionate and caring woman that I like to associate with. I would cherish the opportunity to converse with you about just about everything - in great detail!
