Okay. I ran in the 1st Half-Marathon in San Francisco on Sunday August 3rd. (the first course includes the Golden Gate Bridge and has more climbs, the second course is more urban and easier)

All the events had about 19,000 people. The 1st Half-Marathon had 6679.

My chip time was 2:06.39 - good enough to be 2266 out of 6679. Considering the amount of climbing on this route, especially on the last 3.5 miles, I'm -quite- happy with my time.

I seem to have become a bit of a speed demon.

My 10km on Sunday - Loops for Troops - I had a chip time of 53:04.

This is 3:24 faster than my last 10km on Mothers day which itself was 1:30 faster than the race on St. Patrick's Day.

5 minutes faster in three months. Wow!

Yesterday I thought I had 26 FB friends.

Today I seem to have 25.

I'm thinking and thinking....and I have no idea who's gone. It was 26, wasn't it?

I'm always pleased when one of my shop items sells quite well.

(cough cough) "One of my favourite positions" seems to qualify.

...and it is......one of my faves that is.
