I did mechanical and aerospace engineering, but only work in the mechanical feild. My present workplace is about 5km from RAAF Amberly so I have been watching the new C5's doing circuits for tha last month or two. Still cant help but look up when you hear the F111's going overhead even after being under the flight path for months. They are a sexy aircraft!
I went gliding recently but other than that I don't really fly anymore. I have plenty of RC planes and helis, keeps my 'fly boy' needs entertained.

yep, it used to be 12 flgiht before changing to 212SQN at Redcliffe. I left at the end of 99. I still have a lot of friends from 12 flight, they were great times. You might know Peter Lang, He stayed back to staff for a few years.
