Stale, as ever.

The day as it begins...
Today Morning
I wake up the Maverick
I toss my hair wild, I smell of sweat
Eyes Red, I reach out for a TV remote
To click and stare at the ever restless screen
I am Insanity with unkempt nails
And a bruised mind and a shattered psyche
I am a wave existing to never reach the shoreline
I see skulls and rotten faces, with no flesh or skin
I see layers and masks hidden in the filth of sin
I am crazy, I am the Megalomaniac
I am cluttered in my own junkyard
For today morning, I am Trash

Today Afternoon
I act the Ghost
I shift around in body less stupor
I cling to metal and there is just space
I reach out to hold my body and there is but air
Mirror, when I stare at thee
I see not me but I see a fake lucid shadow
A lazy torment following my footsteps
Like I’m aware there is a somebody beside me,
But when I turn to see, there she stands as always
The Great Nobody
I am the spirit without the flesh.

I feel like the Caged Beast
As I clatter the cold bars of the cage I’m within

And when I turn around to the open fields again
