Happy New Year everyone :))))))))))))))))

I'm sure that most of you (like me) are a little groggy today, overfed, and looking forward in anticipation to 2009 and what it might bring.

2009 could be a big year for afterphase, so I'm going to start it off with a little announcement... When I return to Geneva I will be actively searching band members and aim to start gigging once we are ready.

So hopefully afterphase will transform from a studio recording project to a live act. Watch this space :)

Hi fellow HP pets :)

It's approaching the end of the year, and tomorrow is Christmas finally. I'm back in the UK celebrating with my family and taking time off from the music to reflect on what I plan to do in 2009. I have a few ideas so expect some announcements soon

So I wish you all an amazing time of fun and laughter. Chistmas is about sharing quality time with people that are important to you, so I wish you and all the people you hold close in your life the best ever Christmas and end to 2008.

And I'll be back soon, re-energised, boosted and ready to attack 2009 and see where it leads musically

Finally! If You Were Here is now available on iTunes internationally! :)

It's been quite a long wait, but today - out of the blue and a week earlier than I expected - If You Where Here is now listed on iTunes shop internationally.

So, if you want to support my efforts and push the dream one step closer, please go over to iTunes and buy the single! :)

And don't forget, t-shirts and baseball caps etc are available on my online shop www.cafepress.com/afterphase (also international).

As I type this, myspace has just hit 67,000 total plays - more than 15,000 of which are for If You Were Here. So keep going to myspace every day and play the songs regularly, each hit counts.

One more small favour to ask - go watch the newer version of the IYWH video on youtube (shorter credits) at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92q5nacz2eQ this video has no where near as many hits as my Colder video, which doesn't make so much sense after the many hours of hard work which went into it. So please watch it, spread this link around and let the world see the hard work people put into it.

Next step is media attack which is still in preparation so more news to follow.
I just want to thank everyone again who helped make this happen, your support and dedication has been fantastic and I couldn't be writing this email now if it wasn't for you.

Big apologies for the silence, but I am sick with a bronchial infection and I'm still quite wiped out by that (I cant even sing). But I thought I'd take 2 mins to give you an update.

First of all a big THANK YOU to everyone who has been listening to the songs. I know have more than 50,000 total plays and If You Were Here has surged in front with 12,000 total plays. On average it seems like the songs are being listened to up to 2000 times a day. But we need this to grow! So dont forget to keep listening on myspace each day and pass on the music to everyone you know.

This one works internationally so you definately should check this out. As a motivation to buy stuff, all the proceeds will be going towards recording new songs in the studio to finish the first album. As I put all my last money in the last song, I need to raise money to continue providing new music... So please think of it as supporting afterphase to get that first album up and running! Your support makes a difference.

Speaking of internationally, I do realise that the single is still currently only on sale in USA (so encourage your american friends to go to amazonmp3.com and buy it!) but hopefully in 3-4 weeks max (I know... but its out of my hands) it will be available on iTunes internationally so that everyone can buy it - Again money raised here will help bring the first album a few more steps closer to reality.
