This was a continuation repply by a friend. Trying to pull me away from that dark moment or feeling I was going through.

But then someone came along and found her.
Little did she know she would be picked up,
Watered,
Nourished,
Cared for and LOVED for the rose she was meant to be.
Once again the rose that came into this world,
White and untarnished began to blossom into a beautiful red rose,
Sweet smelling, for the fate that came to her was wonderful.
She had found someone to care for her,
No longer was she neglected,
Mistreated,
Or taken for granted.
For the memory of the past was washed away,
And the petals on the rose were as big as a smile,
For the rose had made it thru the darkness,
And was once again shining.
The rose thanked the LORD for restoring her unto this beautiful rose,
And she promised to never let go of his HAND.
And he spoke to her and said:
“My beautiful beautiful ROSE, I have always been with you,
For I only wanted you to look up and say FATHER HELP ME,
When you were drowning,
And that is when I BLESSED YOU”.

This was written by me on a time period when I just recently broke up with my last love. I know some of you might relate to this. I am that rose. My middle name being rosa, I portrayed myself as that rose, and the stages of color it went through.


Dark Rose

Once upon a time there was a rose bud.
White and untarnished she came to this world.
Little did she know what the world would offer her.
Time would pass and the rose bud would start to acquire a pink shade.
The pink shade that meant she would grow and experience some pain.
Time passes and that bud starts to blossom into a beautiful red rose.
Slightly darkened, not yet thorny, sweet smelling, beautiful rose.
Many would desire this rose, some would possess her.
What a tragic fate would come to her.
No one would know how to care for this rose.
Some would neglect her
Some would mistreat her
Some would take her for granted.
Eventually the rose grew darker, and thorny.
So dark, she was no longer red, but had turned black.
So thorny, she was no longer safe to hold.
Eventually the rose faded, until there was nothing left of her.
No beauty, no color, no smell, not even a memory.

There once was a rose white as snow,
Little did she know the world would bring sorrow.
As time went by, little by little, the abuse and neglect,
Would bring such regret.
The once pure rose, would wither away,
Slowly changing colors day, by day.
