i am now a college student and it feels great! i'm going to go from a tiny, opressive town in the middle of nowhere, to a great, openminded exciting town, with awesome people and so much music! it's Ithaca by the way, and i'm one of the 40 voice majors accepted. 40! that's it! you know how many auditioned? you have no idea! you also have no idea how happy i am :)

There’s a hard rain fallin’ fast to the ground,
It’s killin’ us all but it don’t make a sound,
It’s never seen here but just everywhere,
So you better not travel and you better beware.

This rain it is freezing our hearts and our bone,
And the more that it pounds, the less we control,
This rain it is drowning and killing the earth,
Better die now for all that it’s worth.

One day the rain will cover the globe,
Cleansing the world in its all-sinful robe,
It’s killing us now, but all just the same,
We spawned it ourselves and gave it a name.
