his hand thrust fast upon my breast
an icy hot touch like a fire, licking at my soul
The wind blew in a new direction, leaving a chill on my skin
his eyes grew dark,
on his face of stone
he kept my gaze as I fell fast
his hand stay where my breast had been,
as if frozen in time
and soon, I see my life, away
in a swirl upon my brow,
and still he kept my gaze, as the cold walls came crashing down
he, never once, looking away
a fire burned inside him, yet
he felt no warmth
as i fell away, the pale blue sky seemed closer now
as if i lay inside it
in that fatal moment that would last,
as it seemed, forever
I still believed his outstretched hand
would be my savior
but he did not stir
the light now faded into complete darkness,
and yet i can still see his image, a perfect silhouette
burned now, into my mind
these last feelings were ever so strong
even if lost forever in loves last kiss...
