I sang with a mocking bird.
So I there I was, outside on a crisp Wed morning, enjoying or rather trying to enjoy my morning fag. When this obnoxious bird started crooning out it's early morning song. After listening to this creature of the dawn for about a minute and getting more annoyed by the second, I came up with a great idea, whistle back to it. Hoping I could startle the bird by a human noise, I belted out a "over here horsey" whistle. And to my surprise the bird sang back my whistle. Thinking I must still be drunk from the night before and couldn't have possible heard right, I whistled another "your a hot momma" whistle. And sure as shit, the bird sang it back. Now most of you know me pretty well, and know I am easily entertained, so it should come as to no surprise when I started whistling with the avian that could be no other then a mocking bird. Perhaps it is a mocking bird or a figment of my early morning fogginess but whatever the case may be, I said thank you to the bird for our lil song, and went on my way.
