How i got my nickname.Me and a few of my friend skipped school for a couple of days one year. We drove to the beach. We pilled out of the car grabbed our surfboards and took to the waves. There was a tropical depression in the gulf. we said what the hell,and off into the waves we went.it was raining and lighting off into the distance. we surfed what seemed for hours, i was ready to go in when i saw this set coming in. Something cought my eye off to the left, I didn't think anything of it. then i saw it again it looked like a fin from a dolphin so i kept heading for the wave. two of my friends were feet away from me, i turned started paddling and something snagged my leash, i fell fast.I hurried to the surface . when i got there i could barely see grabbing for my board when i felt his weard surface i knew it wasn't my board. i saw this green,brown skinish looking thing i freaked at first pushing the board away. only then realizing what it was and hearing my friend laughing. A Turtle sitting half on my surfboard. i guess the tropical depression through them off. cause there were lots of them swimming in the waves around us. hence forward my nickname TurtleSurfer
