okay, so a little background info to start. I buggered up my knees when I was a kid. Ripped a big hole in my right knee sliding into home plate, did all kinds of nasty stuff to the inside of it too. Playing hockey(goalie to be exact) didn't help things along at all, in fact made it worse. So there is the background now for something a little more recent. Two and a half weeks ago i twisted that same knee and felt a nasty little "crunch" with it. Normally it would hurt for a day or two and I would be fine. Well i let it go for a week before letting someone take me to the ER and while I was there the Dr didn't really like what he saw and referred me to a surgeon. Well, I saw said surgeon this morning and heard what i didn't want to hear. I am now booked to have knee surgery on July 10th. I am SO looking forward to that! Been there, done that and I have are two lousy scars and another sore knee! Did I forget to mention that I had the other knee operated on 9 years ago for pretty much the same problems?

Anybody want to trade places?
