What a splendid word. If you were a synesthetic you might perceive such a thing as a square, mayhaps with an angry half-circle or a phasing blue trapezoid dissecting it. Could you feel it, what would it feel like? Like a rainy day perhaps, when you stand alone out in a green field and let yourself fall backwards to become one with the dew, realizing that you, like the rain, will someday pass away?

Lacking the sensory birthright of the enviable synesthetic, I see it thus as the moment when you wake up, and realize that you were placed here with the power of infinite utility at your disposal. Your mind, your hands, your heart, to forge the path to a new frontier of knowledge and discovery.

You are not normal, you will never be normal, normal does not exist. Use your tools, and with them you shall liberate your mind and free yourself from the masses, it is then that you can reach the greatest pinnacles of your potential. It is what you are here to do.

Sometimes when I am walking through a crowded place and meet someone's gaze at random, I wonder to myself how different my life would be if I knew them. Would we be friends, lovers, or perhaps worst enemies?

It makes me sad sometimes, thinking of how those questions will probably remain unanswered.

Then again, our paths have many twists and turns, and we never know who we'll come to know along the way.
