Do you ever look back at your past and think "What if"? I know that I do, and I really wish I didn't because it doesn't get you anywhere, and it can be quite destructive.
For example...I had a girlfriend once...and we had a 6 month romance that was just awesome. She was the only woman that I've ever dated that I could be totally myself with. OK...so its been a loooong time since I wrote anything here. To be honest, I had a bit of a brain fart, and for a while couldn't face Facebook! It was the oddest thing...the longer I was away, the harder it seemed to get back in to it. fortunately good friends made me see sence...and I'm back to normal! HaHa as if I was ever normal teehee!

Anyway...till haven't lost the weight I was looking to lose...stil sitting at 14st 10lbs...so writing this i'm hoping will give me impetus to start being good again! No, skimpy summer dresses for me until I slim down :(.

Hi folks....I'm back from my little trip to Amsterdam!
I'm finding it rather difficult to be honest. I have spent the last 5 days taking in culture of different forms. There was the sort of culture that involved museums....both Van Gogh and Sex museums were studied extensively. Then there was the sort of culture that involved drinking rather nice beer for hours on end, and having a recreational smoke...and people watching! People watching really does take on a new dimention when you can watch the ladies in the windows lit by red lights jiggling about for custom. And then turning it into sport when a customer does enter...the curtain pulls across...and we all get to start the stopwatch and gauge performance ;) lol.
All in all, the weather was pretty good...and I had a great time laughing and relaxing with the friends i'd travelled with.
I haven't had the courage to step on any scales since my return, but i'll have to face that sometime today! eek.

Ok...so just a brief tale this time...as I've been a bit under the kish at work, trying to wrap up the weeks work in advance of leaving for Amsterdam for a few days break tomorrow. But i'm nearly there...and i'll be packing soon...woohooo!
So...the Sunday weigh in! I managed to reverse the weight gain from last week, so i'm back at 14st 10lbs...although, now that i'll be in Amsterdam, I fully expect the alcohol to have a detrimental effect on my weight loss programme!
There will be more to write when I get back...with tales of the seedy side of Amsterdam no doubt! lol.
