I'm learning to fight with a Longsword. A slightly strange hobby which I only started because a friend wanted people to join them while they did it.

Every lesson is more fun than the last. Now I need / want to get my own mask, sword, kevlar armoured gloves and a jacket to stop people accidently slicing me in half... somethign tells me my version of fun is getting slightly twisted by the constant blows of 3.5 feet of steel to the head :)

Speaking of travelling, I get to go to Amsterdam in March too. Damn work, they're sending me out on a 1-day visit so no chance to actually look round. Grr...

Next weeks going to be interesting. 2 days of work, 1 day of travelling and 2 days in Luxembourg. At least I get to find out if the hideous amount of work I've had to do so far this year will actually do what it's supposed to.

Calling for Heroes played last night at the Nottingham Trent Uni Glo Bar. They were really good. I think they're definately getting the hang of this gig thing!

Well, I'm getting that Friday feeling...which is annoying as I still have lots of work to do this afternoon! Oh well, at least I get to go see my brothers brilliant band playing in Nottingham tonight.
