Its my birthday! And in true form I totally forgot it was even today till I got a text this morning, as I had done all the usual bday drinks and meet and greets at the weekend :)

8th day of a killer headache, makes everything painful, I even feel guilty about wanting to take anymore time off work (concentration levels are non-existent), have no energy to do any exercise or go for a run... any medication I take just dulls it ever so slightly: paracetemol, ibuprofen, aspirin.. all useless.
The only thing that cures it slightly is putting on my headphones, throwing Explosions In The Sky or Sophie Zelmani on the CD player and laying back in bed. God bless the healing (well temporarily numbing) power of truely excellent music.

Nooo connected my iPod nano to the laptop and suddenly it says its screwed and I have to restore it... wiping all my songs! damn you Apple anyway... still it's pretty light and funky so I'll forgive it this once.

I'm looking out the window and it's extremely windy and looks like its going to rain buckets any minute... and lucky for me I'm off kitesurfing in an hour. Gonna be quite interesting.

I'm back to work after skiing and it sucks.. plus my heads killing me after cracking it against a rock (which I thought was a pile of snow) last tue, really not good. doctors tomorrow i think.

I'm currently stuck in a blizzard in Austria... very cold and incredible amounts of snow. Nothing to do but drink :)
