Can't believe that I still get amazed by the human nature of people, but once again I get crushed by the ingnorance of others. Never thought someone on this site would be so prejudicial and judgemental. I figured we were all here to have fun and get a release from reality. To be told that I make someone uncomfortable because I have a picture of my family on my page and because I am wearing green was very upsetting. To each her own, but I wish she would have taken a moment to get to know me first. I was told I was weird because I pet her but never spoke to her, but in my defense she pet me as well and the first time she spoke with me was to tell me my profile was a turn off. Never judge a book? To each their own.

Very long, but oh so rewarding day. My wife and I welcomed Brody Alexander McManus into this world. Weighing in at a robust 7lbs 8 ounces. An absolute miracle.

Well guess who is stuck at work for a 12 hour shift overnight? No joke. And this would be after spending all day at the area office interviewing candidates for employment and then getting so worked up at my son's soccer game that I got kicked off the sideline by the ref. Of course I wouldn't have to do all of this if the new officer I hired had not called to say he couldn't work because he now has another job. But that is why I get the big bucks - oh did I mention I am salaried and get nothing for working extra? And as for getting kicked off the sideline - how does a kids who doesn't even know the game of soccer and tries to show me up get the right to kick me off the sideline. I guess I will find out next week when we play at the same field again. Well, if you have made it this far through my rant you might as well give me a thumb. It is good to get things off your chest and get points for it at the same time. Hope you weekend is going better than mine. LOL
