wandering thoughts


i go over the days events
before its time for bed
i wonder if there is anything else
that maybe i should had done or said
did i reach out today
to make another smile
did i bother stepping forth at all
to walk that extra mile
were the words that i spoke
spoken from the heart
could there be that one thing
i possibily over looked
like a hug i missed sending
maybe a comment i overlooked
being a friend sometimes
is one of the hardest things to be
especially here on the internet ...
you reach out with words
when
you wish you could be there
in person
you hope that ur feelings
are truly conveyed in the
cold form of text
instead of the warmth of touch
ceaseless circle of
neverending questions
but enough maybe to make us aim
to be a better friend in all areas

Letting Go


the circle of the trees, the circle of fire
the circle of stone, the circle of desire
wandering ways, wandering thoughts
wandering kisses, ending with naught
pullings and tuggings, wants and needs
giving and taking, nothing but dreams
giving up all, needing only one
wanting only to please, seeing it done
pushed away, tossed aside
no more important, no more tears to dry
longing and hurting, trying to go on
knowing there will never be, another total song
going through the motions, pretending its done
hiding the tears falling, behind the light of the sun
darkness comes, and its back again
looking for the box, wanting it to finally win
waking up, moving on
another day to go, yesterdays gone
hurt and pain, a daily friend
sometimes wishing so badly, it would just finally end
taking the collar, taking the brand
going to a safe place, burying it in the sand
never again to be worn, never again to be seen
never again to belong, never again to be me
giving up is to easy, changing is hard
forgetting the pains, remembering the scars
looking ahead, reliving the past
looking for dreams, that will never last
cuttin the skin, feeling something real
feeling the drops, needing to heal ~Pixie~

~Touching~

sometimes we touch in ways
words could never reach,
other times we touch
in ways that teach,
no matter how far,
nor how close,
we touch with hearts,
spirit and soul,
giving and taking,
sharing and caring,
laughing and crying,
quitting and trying,
we push one another,
via just a thought,
what can possibly be closer
than the touch?
