RIP my beautiful, beloved Flash. I miss you already. You helped me through so many difficult times and I honestly don't think I would have made it through if it wasn't for you. You gave my life meaning; gave me a reason to keep going.
I know I made the right decision in helping you to cross over before things got too uncomfortable for you. As difficult as that was I am comforted by a feeling of still having you with me in spirit, and I will look out for the signs you may give that you're still by my side.
I guess your purpose in life was complete, and so it was time for you to move on.
I can never replace you, though I am sure I will adopt other dogs, and I'm not sure that I'll be able to have another of your breed, because it would just never live up to what you were.
