What is the obsession with the word 'epidemic'? USA has an obesity epidemic, a back pain epidemic, a pain epidemic?!? I mean come on. . . Are these things really like a widespread disease? Does it need a word like epidemic. Is this just an advertisment catch or do people really think obesity is an epidemic?! We are a fat nation for the same reason I will always have a job.. fried, greasy, fattening, high cholesterol foods with no exercise.. heart attack or stroke everytime. The News just said that TN is trying to pass a law to make it illegal to teach about homosexuality in schools. WTF? Because no knowledge will make it disappear? Ignorance is not always bliss. So instead of explaining so when they see it on tv and the streets they understand, they are going to allow it to be erased from school like it doesn't exist?
