Neon orange signs mark the exits

Be my best friend

Before deciding to be in love with me

Confide in me, confess to me.

A cell phone rings and interrupts the train

Let my lungs loose so I may breath

The air is so tight

My stress levels so high

I can reach the sky

A pin hits the ground

At the drop of a new hat

Fly, lie, die, sigh, why

Repent and believe

In the dark things seem endless

Promises are broken

People are betrayed

Lost and misused

Unsaved and abused

The stars taste like candy

Burning so I'm crying

Oh look flowers so pretty.

Pink Ponies

Pink ponies flying over fields of uncertainty and insecurities.

Pretty maidens all lined in a row, their siren like ways unknown to even each other.

Logic is lost in our fairytales, we are defined by the justification of our sins.

Continue on in your irresponsible ways, ignore reality in all its truth.

Bleeding through my eyes, the tears roll down one at a time.

They slip into my mouth, each one revelling in its bitter metalic taste.

Feel my fear under the layers of hostile reactions and absolute confidence.

It causes my knees to tremble, my heart to stutter, my mind to slip.

I want to be with you, this embrace, real as it seems, is not enough.

Each day I live, each day I breathe, causes my heart to beat in wonderment alone.

No need for petty toys or friends as the world twirls in its balanced ballet.

Wise words spoken in the gates of the city of angels, spiralling madly from tongue to tongue.
