On my seventh birthday I got mauled by a dog while I was on the ground searching for the candy from the pinata. The pinata that I broke. I'm just that good. I don't know why the dog took an exception to me, but hey. What can you do? I decided that I had the worst luck ever. The worst part was that I never even got any of the candy. Life is pretty unfair sometimes.
I also got lost in Rome. I was just innocently staring into the window of a candy shop (Italy has some VERY good candy) and then I turned around and I was alone. Well, as alone as you can be in the middle of sidwalk in a crowded city full of foreign people talking in Italian. Once again, no one even noticed for a while. The worst part was not being able to tell anyone why I was all alone on the street. They didn't speak English.
The best next thing was falling off a cliff and landing on my face. I just have that talent. No one else could slip on a rock, fall facefirst into a cliff, BOUNCE, land on their face again before falling in the water. Just me. Actually, the suprising part is that it didn't hurt at all. I was so suprised that I stayed underwater for a good minute before thinking that I should surface incase they thought I was drowning. Well, here's the good part. No one even noticed. Yep, I can fall of a cliff in the middle of a crowd of friends and no one will even notice. It makes me feel special. It wasn't until later when the bruises on my face started turning colors that they realized something was wrong.
I guess I just attract misfortune. Or maybe everyone has as many troubles as I do, but I bet you at least got SOMETHING out of it. Even just a little attention, a little worry. Some get well cards maybe? But hey, I can't complain. At least I'm not bored.
