right, i've been dragged south, yes to southern france. i'm currently cooking (yes more so than normal in the office) in the sweltering heat in Cotes d'Azur! its bloomin lursh, had to take me coat off on the plane as i knew as soon as i got off it i would melt like the witch in Wizard of Oz. The 4am start didn't help that much either, hour long taxi journeys, but i'm here, one night only and then its back to the homestead tomorrow. i'll try and get the tow hooks onto the good weather and drag it all back with me?? or i'll just pull us all a this far south and shove this lot back up where we were, the italians won't mind too much having us for their new neighbours. i have possibly the biggest BIGGEST hotel room ever on earth, well that i've ever had the pleasure of lavishing in, stand up shower, seperate toilet, air con MOREMOREMORE...I can't say anymore for fear of upsetting those worse of than I, but of course i will be rejected back to those same sordid conditions tomorrow...after another shunt here there and everywhere on trains, planes and automobiles!

10 days later.....yup i've been poorly, well man flu if you're female. not good, one week out of the office nursing sore head, limbs and everything, along with a chest that could be swapped for a babies rattle. anyhows sort of back on the road to recovery, i can almost breathe without rattling and i'm not having to use the plugs up my nose any more, and wait for it, managed to sleep an entire night, which given the conditions here surprised me to say the least, i'm waiting for the sea to start lapping at the front door. well not really got a while until that happens but I think the m3 would make a nice river from london to the coast, would probably be quicker than it is now! office conditions have improved, looks like they found the bake n shake control on the air con unit and managed to switch it to off, lets just hope that this week is a bit of a non event....

Cooking in the Oven Update! the nice man from facilities finally has sat int he office and experienced the full on oven roasting tempreture that we've had to endure for the past 3 months, his excuse was soething about the thermostat is on the fritz and its now fixed (allegedly). Today is a much more suitable climate, I am no longer leaking water like a seive or walking around looking like a bad hypercolour t-shirt day (and yes i use BO basher). Now all i need to do is get this week out of the way, please friday afternoon hurry up and defy the laws of quantum mechanics and arrive NOW! I have stuff I would rather be doing socially than sat here button pushing!
