Same name as the previous singer of Iron Maiden, a coincidence?

My opinion has always been that the best Maiden material was made before Dickinson took over the vocals. Not that Dickinson and the boys didn't put out a few decent songs and albums, its just that they cannot compare favourably to the darker undertones and the deeper vocals that can deliver stronger emotional overtones...
