Stupidest thing Ever award! I win it!!!

Do you know what I did today? I made a roast. Seasoned it all up...salt/pepper/thyme...seared it, cut some really nice onions, put it all in the crock pot....turned it on High...and forgot to plug the DAMN THING IN!!!!!! GAH!

So here it is, nearly 2...my roast has JUST started cooking...grrr. I'm so aggrivated I could scream. I NEVER do stupid shit like that! And I'd love to blame Brumley for being here, because he did have me a bit off-kilter, but good grief. Who cares if he's here? It's not like I think of him as anything other than a little brother (who I could strangle sometimes heh) and even if I did, he'd never look at someone as old as me. I'm 10 years older than he is! Get a grip girl, your hormones are taking over. I really need to get laid. That's the cause of this problem...

Lots going on lately. Some fun, some not so fun (blargh Politics I hate POLITICS! I can't wait for my American Federal Gov't class to be overrrr!!!) But things are GOOD around here. I'm happy with the progress I'm making in school, happy with the routine that I'm in with Abby and Grandma. And I can't wait for spring!!! I'm more than a little excited about spring. Gonna try to get out and plant my tulips this weekend. So...YAY for progress!

Tale for today: Dan is working. Again. All day. again. He has no idea when he'll be home. As usual. I would be happy about the overtime, except that....I miss my husband! And I'm tired. I got virtually NO sleep last night. I'm so sleepy I could fall over. I think I might go take a nap.

My daughter is a super-genius. Or something. She, at 9 months, has already discovered that I have earrings in one ear, and not in the other. She spent 15 minutes tonight looking from one ear to the other...then she started chewing on my ear with earrings in it. That has to be one of the oddest feelings EVER.
