How my Darcy got his name!

He is named after Mr Darcy, from Pride and Prejudice - something I watched with my ex- mother in law before she passed away. It just seemed to be fitting. It also helped that my best friend loved the Bulldogs and Darcy was her favourite player. Hence the reason for his name.

More stories about my dearest puppy...

In the beginning...
My friends owned a pet store and sold him.. There was a 48hr health return. The new owners had returned him after leaving him in the car for 4 hours on a 40 degree day. Some people just dont deserve pets!
He had lost all his hair, dealing with heat exhaustion and stress. My friends took him back, ( he was so ugly with no hair.) and nursed him back to health. He couldnt be resold so to save him from the RSPCA he became a part of my family!

My poor little puppy got attacked last night.
We were going for a run, when out of know where a large border collie jumped on him! I was really scared, and my little Darcy was crying and yelping. The owner of the collie took her dog away without even a word of an apology!
I carried my poor little Darcy home like a baby whilst he was whimpering and crying. He lay on the ground, until I brought out his dinner. With in a flash, he jumped up and forgot he was supposed to be injured.
Just shows that I should have taken him to the Neighbours audtions for Bob when talent scouts saw him!! What a peformer... think he loved the attention, or is just a sook!

So end of the tale.. he is ok!
