I wrote this poem...umm, like a year ago, but I just improvised it. :)
Something Simple

I wasn't asking for the world
You deserve much better than this
Waking up with vacant eyes and with a broken heart again
Please forgive me for not being good enough
Tie me up in sheets and hang me from your tree
Finish me, follow your plan
The drugs finally begin to peak
I can't forget all the times that I was lost and depressed
Please torture me with words from your lips
Distracting myself with your stare
A smile of joy arrives in me
As a hope I had becomes surreal
All the times you smiled, you said hello
And thought I was okay in your eyes
I bet you believe that I'm better off with you than someone else
Will you stay, or will you walk away?
And the longer I lay here; I know it's harder to get up without you
So, lose another day here, lose another year here
I'm finally with you.
