Time for an update on my life I suppose. I might be taking 20 credits next semester. I am graduating a semester early, and in order to get in all my classes and not drop stage combat and continue a little more with the musical theater minor, I have to audit the last two credits of musical theater technique, that is if the scheduling works out. I want to graduate early so I can get a job and take courses in wedding planning. I had been really unhappy in my classes and I couldn't figure out why until I realized how important having a family was to me, and that being on stage would make it really tough to be able to have one. So I'm going to get a job after I graduate and pay for the courses online, and I will try to make a career out of both acting and wedding planing. I still love to act and I won't give that up, but I want to be able to have and care for my family, so I want to be a wedding planner so I can work from home. Besides, I love wedding work, and the art that goes into it. I'm not giving up acting by any means, if I can make a career out of it, so be it, but I still want something that gives me the security so I'm not relying on my family as much. I want a more stable future for myself, and my mind is set on what I want to do. It wasn't until I realized that, in pursuing my dream of acting, that I completely gave up my dream of a family, and caring for people is so important in my life, that it's not something I'm willing to compromise.
